An early 20th century French Louis XV style haut-relief carved solid oak and glazed single door Vitrine de Mariage display bookcase, the Chapeau de Gendarme pediment decorated with a haut-relief carved bouquet of flowers (an allegory for youthfulness Spring time) above an out-sized foliate and flower scroll, the doors panels  with haut-relief carved foliate and seashell motifs. Internally fitted with adjustable-height shelves. Area of Normandy, circa 1930.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing very slight wear in keeping with its age.
Dimensions: Width 75.5 cm (82 cm at the pelmet), depth 41 cm, height 190 cm.
