An outstanding French majolica asparagus serving set, comprising an oblong-shaped platter and 12 plates, each decorated with bunches of asparagus stalks and artichokes, with stylised foliate and flower motifs. Note the excellent, vibrant colours. Area of Luneville, France, circa 1900. Price is for the set of twelve plates, plus platter.
