A set of four French Napoleon III period, Regence style solid walnut dining chairs of wonderful quality and proportions, the seats sprung and upholstered, the backrests and rails decorated with haut-relief carved stylised seashell and foliate motifs. Upholstered in an old 'flamed' brocade. Please note the high quality and crispness of the carved decorations. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
