A pair of mid 19th century French Napoleon III period 'statuette' candelabra of wonderful personality, each candelabrum in the shape of a finely cast bronze 'Amour' cherub, holding up a bronze candle sconce and sitting on mounds of rocks and ferns. Each cherub statuette standing on its turned black marble plinth. Area of Paris, circa 1870.

This item due in Melbourne in 2025.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition. Requiring to be rewired to Australian safety standards using gold silk wiring and cord-switches.
