An 18th century Stone Basin

An 18th century French Regence period carved solid stone basin in the shape of a stylised conch, a drainage hole at the base of the basin. The stone has a rich patina of lichens and moss. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris) circa 1720.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing surface wear in keeping with its age and outdoor use.
Dimensions: 100 x 80 cm, height 38 cm.
