An 18th century French farmhouse solid oak kitchen table, the table top beautifully burnished by use and retaining a soft colour, showing marking from kitchen work, standing on chamfered square-section legs joined by an 'H' stretcher. The table shows its early construction techniques, including the wooden peg joints. Area of the Lower Normandy, circa 1780.

This item due in Melbourne in 2025.
