An early 18th century English George II period solid oak Gate-leg Table, the oval top with a moulded edge, above baluster-turned legs, the aprons of the table ends decorated with fretted scroll-work. A shallow drawer retaining the original escutcheon is fitted at one of the ends. The oak timbers retaining an excellent and original, dark oak patination. Area of London, circa 1730.
