A large early 20th century French Louis XIV style refectory table, the nicely burnished and faded solid top made from repurposed 18th century beechwood timbers, with a thickness of 3.5 cm, standing on two shaped and fretted uprights joined by a massive stretcher rail. Please note the nicely burnished and luminous finish and the elegant character of the shaped and fretted uprights. The table top, the two structural uprights, the central rail and the two securing wedges come apart, for ease of transport and storage. France, circa 1900.
