A French Empire style 'Gueridon' salon table, each of its legs in the shape of a nicely faded mahogany Classical pilaster fitted with gilt brass capitols and plinths. Of wonderfully restrained and masculine character, retaining its original 'Gris Saint Anne' marble top. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
