A large French Louis XIV style solid oak Refectory table made from centuries old architectural timbers, the nicely burnished blond oak top with an exceptional thickness of 7 cm, standing on two shaped and fretted uprights joined by a sturdy stretcher rail. Please note the elegant character of the uprights, decorated with shaped cut-outs. This table has excellent leg-room and comes apart, for ease of transport. France, circa 1900.
