A French Louis XVI style 'Bouillotte' coffee table of good design and proportions, the original Carrara marble top edged with a fretted and raised gilt brass gallery. The circular waist boards are decorated with fine book-matched inlays on mahogany timbers, all of which are nicely faded. This Bouillotte table is fitted with two shallow drawers and two pull-out extensions, each with a leather insert. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
