A French 'Coiffeuse' Dressing Table

An elegant 19th century French Louis XVI style carved and painted 'Coiffeuse' dressing table fitted with a central, oval mirror flanked by two swivelling mirrors, decorated with finely woven rattan panels and surmounted by a knotted bow crest. A shallow drawer is fitted into the front rail of the shaped table top, which retains the original Breche marble insert. Standing on elegantly tapering Cabriole legs joined by a shaped 'X' stretcher. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

Condition report: Complete and in as found condition. This table is complete but requires structural work, small repairs, cleaning, colour touch ups.
Dimensions: Length 90 cm x depth 45 cm , height 145 cm. When mirrors are extended, length 107 cm. Height of tabletop 75 cm.
