An extending French Dining Table

A French Louis XV style, carved solid oak and oak parquetry extending dining table, the serpentine shaped top above shaped rails haut-relief carved with trellises of Summer flowers, standing on elegant Cabriole legs. This table will easily seat six people when closed, and will comfortably seat ten when fully extended. The extension leaves slide under and are stored under the tabletop, when they are not in use. Area of Southern France, circa 1930.
