A set of eight 19th century French Champagne 'coupes', the elegant crystal bowls decorated with fine waterwheel cut patterns, standing on baluster stems.  Unlike drinking from Champagne flutes, drinking from coupes offers up Champagne bubbles to tickle one's nose. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1880.

Condition report: In good and original condition, no chips or cracks.
