An elegant French Louis XVI style carved and painted Salon set, comprising four 'fauteuil' armchairs and a long canape all decorated with Neoclassical elements, including fluted and tapering legs, carved paterae and moulded-edge rectangular backrests. Note the perfect classical proportions and the masculine character of this furniture. Area Paris, circa 1930. This set sells separately, in two pairs of armchairs and the canape.

Condition report: In good and unrestored condition, requiring cleaning & touching up of surfaces, reupholstery.
