A 19th century French Louis XVI style carved beechwood piano tabouret of fine quality, the round-end seat fitted with finely woven cane, the tapering and fluted legs joined by a shaped H-stretcher with a central finial. The beechwood timbers nicely faded. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
