A pair of 19th century French solid oak benches of elegant and simple proportions, each standing on four splayed legs joined by 'H' stretchers. The tops are very well-burnished and faded by use. Area of Normandy, circa 1860.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing slight wear in keeping with its age. Requiring a good clean, a wax & buff.
