A French Art Nouveau period majolica plate, the slightly raised decorations painted in tenuous colour glazes depicting swan swimming amongst reeds and lillies, on a turquoise background. Signed Hippolyte Boulenger for the pottery of Choisy le Roi.  Area of Paris, circa 1890.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing only slight wear in keeping with its age and use.
