A French Majolica Oyster Serving Set

A French Art Deco period majolica oyster-serving set comprising 12 plates and a serving platter, each plate has 6 shaped hollows for holding oysters and one central hollow for a lemon slice, the platter has 12 shaped hollows plus 2 hollows for lemon slices. Each plate and the platter are in the shape of a stylised fish, with a haut relief head, tail and with finned edges. The undersides are stamped with the Longwy French pottery maker's mark.
