A pair of 19th century English glazed ceramic sitting King Charles spaniels, decorated with typical parcel gilt markings. The underside of the bases with their kiln holes and showing that these two dogs were made using press moulds. Later Staffordshire figures are made in slip moulds. Area of Staffordshire, England, circa 1860.
