A large, vintage Italian 'repousseed' and gilt brass tray in the shape of a seashell, the surfaces showing the marks of the artisan's hand-beaten work. The underside with three button-feet to stabilise the tray. Area of Southern Italy, circa 1970.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing only slight wear in keeping with its age and use.
