A French Art Nouveau period majolica ‘cache-pot’ jardiniere planter vase decorated with raised, etched and glazed flower and foliate patterns, the colours and patterns of the glaze typical of the barbotine work of Gustave De Bruyn, of the 'Faïencerie de Fives' in Lille. The underside with the potter's stamp and model number. Area of Fives Lille, Northern France, circa 1900.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing wear in keeping with its age and use. A hairline crack at the base.
