A mid 20th century French Siena yellow glaze Vallauris majolica soup tureen, the handles and top of the lid in the shapes of woven rope. The underside is stamped with the designer's and maker's hallmark, "Aegina Vallauris, Made in France". Area of Cannes, South of France, circa 1960.
