A "Jose A Cunha" Majolica Palissy Bouquet Plate

A 19th century Jose A Cunha Portuguese Palissy Majolica plate which features a bouquet of Summer flowers tied together with a blue ribbon, on a pale Siena sand ground. The rear is stamped with the maker's marks for the "Jose A Cunha" pottery in Caldas da Rainha. Area of Greater Lisbon, circa 1890. 

This piece is currently able to be viewed at Michelle Kindness Design, 21A Beatty Ave, Armadale VIC.
