An elegant French silvered metal wine and Champagne bucket of simple design, of good weight, decorated with classical-shaped “ring” handles and with two gadrooned friezes. Note the fine quality of the silversmith’s chase-work. Engraved on the front with "Grand Hotel, Marseille". The underside with the Christofle hallmark. Area of Paris, circa 1960.
