An early 20th century French Provincial wrought iron standard light of simple design. Decorated with a typical French scrollwork base and with a twist-turn stem, and retaining its original old metal finish. Fitted with its original parchment shade with a decorative fringe. Area of Normandy, circa 1930.

Condition report: In excellent and original, fully restored condition. Freshly cleaned and re-wired to Australian safety standards using black silk electrical cord with a foot-switch.
