A 19th century French carved walnut and brass hall stand decorated with bas-relief geometric and foliate motifs. The pediment with an out-sized shell scroll above a baluster-turned gallery with finials. Fitted with its original bevelled mirror and all of its silvered brass hooks, umbrella and walking stick rail and retaining the original tole metal drip-vat. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
