A Trout Fountain

A large and wonderful-quality lost-wax cast bronze of a French fountainhead in the shape of a leaping trout, mounted on an oval plinth. The trout is hollow, and is meant to shoot water from its open mouth, once installed as a fountain.

Condition report: In excellent, original condition. Retaining an excellent bronze patina.
