A pair of large-sized French Louis XIV style, turned solid brass and wrought iron baluster shaped 'chenet' fire dogs of elegant proportions and fine quality. These fire dogs are fitted at the rear with wrought iron brackets to support firewood and/ or a fire basket. 

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing slight wear in keeping with use and age.
