A 19th century French Louis XVI style, solid mahogany, gilt brass and Carrara marble commode of three drawers, of simple, Neoclassical elegance. Please note the fine gilt brass mouldings offsetting the mahogany tones and the elegant, raised and fretted gilt brass 'Bouillotte' gallery on the edges of the top. Retaining the original 'ring' handles and escutcheons. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
