A pair of 19th century French Louis XVI style carved hallway walnut chairs, the backrest uprights' splats in the shape of lyres, standing on finely tapering and fluted legs carved with stylised Neoclassical motifs including paterae and continuous ribbon mouldings. Please note the very fine quality of the carved haut relief decorations. Area of Paris, circa 1880. 
Condition report: In good, unrestored condition.
