An elegant, late 18th century French Regence period solid oak "Buffet Deux-Corps" of fine quality and excellent proportions, decorated with an outsized pediment and well-carved haut-relief mouldings. Retaining the original, nicely-faded and luminous patination. The four doors open up completely, including the central door-transoms, making this piece ideally suited as a TV/ stereo cabinet. Fitted also with two drawers. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1730.
