A French "Meuble de Métier" Cabinet

A 19th century French Napoleon III period "Meuble de Métier" cabinet, used by an artisan to store small and valuable items or tools of his trade, the simple, ebonised timber structure fitted with a myriad of small drawers. Area of Paris, circa 1860.

Condition report: In good and as-found condition, showing wear in keeping with its age and use. Some of the knobs are broken and have been replaced long ago by screws. Our workshop can offer a full restoration of this piece, or, one could just wax and buff it, and leave it as is.
