A 19th century French Directoire style solid cherrywood three drawer, three door Buffet d’Enfilade, the doors with solid, book-matched timber panels decorated with subtle ebony stringing and simple gilt brass escutcheons and drawer-pulls. The cherrywood timbers are nicely-worn and retain a wonderful, luminous patina. Internally fitted with a shelf. Area of Picardie, North West France, circa 1860.
