A pair of 19th century French "Chesterfield" Club style leather armchairs upholstered in the original diamond-buttoned tan leather and bronze stud edging, standing on turned legs. Retaining the original, nicely worn patina and the original caster wheels. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

Condition report: In exceptionally good condition for their age. The leather with light surface crackling but no tears of major stains. The stuffing and springs are still in good order.
Dimensions: Width 80 cm, depth 63 cm, height of backrests 85 cm, of seats 41 cm.
