An early 20th century French Provincial Louis XV style "etagere" set of shelves, decorated with typical Provencale haut-relief carved and fretted foliate motifs, and surmounted by finely turned baluster finials. These sort of etageres could be hung, but were usually placed on top of a buffet or chest of drawers to display precious knick-knacks. Area of Southern France, circa 1930.

Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition.
