A French Regence style carved solid oak single door display bookcase, the bow-fronted door fitted with its original astragaled glass panels. Internally fitted with with the original shelves. Note the elegance of the carved 'dentil' pediment. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1880.
