A vintage French Louis XV style haut-relief carved solid oak and glazed double-door “Vitrine“ bookcase, decorated with trellises of flowers, an allegory for Springtime (youth and fertility). Fitted with the original and adjustable, solid oak internal shelves. Note the wonderful and luminous quality of the blond oak timbers. Area of Normandy, circa 1950.

Condition report: In excellent and un-restored condition, requiring a wax and buff.
