A small and understated, early 20th century French Louis XVI style oak commode of two drawers, of wonderfully simple Neoclassical design. Note the wonderful, haut-relief carved decorations on the apron, the musical instruments an allegory for harmony in the home. Area of Paris, circa 1900.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing slight wear in keeping with its age.
