A Louis XV ‘Corbeille’ Double Bed

A fine, early 20th century French Louis XV style carved beechwood double size bed, comprising a bed head, a ‘Corbeille’ footer and original, carved side rails. The width allows for a double-bed size mattress, but the side rails may need to be sympathetically lengthened to accommodate a standard Australian double-bed mattress length. There is a way to possibly accommodate a Queen size mattress on this bed. Please ask Miguel for details on this. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
