A Queen-size French Directoire Bed

An elegant, early 20th century French Directoire-style carved and painted Queen-size ‘Lit-en-Bateau’ sleigh bed of good proportions, and simplicity of Neoclassical design. The patinated painted finish with a warm and soft ivory colour. This bed is 150 cm wide, two centimetres short of the 152 cm width of a standard Queen-size bed, but it can still take a Queen or a Double sized mattress.
