A pair of fine and well-proportioned French Louis XVI style, solid beechwood Bergere armchairs decorated with finely carved Neoclassical decorations such as paterae and reeded mouldings. Upholstered with a separate seat cushion, making them very comfortable to sit in. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: In good and un-restored condition, requiring touch-ups and light polishing. The fabric is worn but not torn, and could be usable after a steam clean.
