A pair of 19th century French Louis XVI style, carved and painted 'Fauteuil' armchairs of understated and masculine design, standing on turned, tapering and fluted legs. Please note the wonderful sweep of the armrests. Area of Paris, circa 1900.

Condition report: In good, as found condition. Requiring cleaning and touch ups of painted surfaces, re-upholstery.
