A pair of Louis XV Armchairs

A pair of early 20th century, French Louis XV style, haut-relief carved and painted fauteuil armchairs, finely proportioned and broad in width, and very comfortable to sit on. Please note the play of light on the finely carved mouldings and the haut relief foliate decorations on the nicely-worn painted finish. Upholstered in Art Deco style fabric. Area of Paris, circa 1910.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition. The upholstery in good condition, the fabric should be replaced.
Dimensions: Width 70 cm, depth 54 cm, height of backrests 97 cm, height of seats 41 cm.
