A pair elegant 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XV style, carved and parcel gilt solid walnut Fauteuil Cabriolet armchairs of exquisite Parisian quality. Please note the broadness of the seats, the graceful lines and proportions, the quality of the carvings and the proportions of the broad back-rests to the seats. Paris, circa 1870.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing slight surface wear in keeping with its age. Requiring cleaning, light polishing, touch-ups. The old fabrics may be usable, after a steam clean.
