A lot of four 19th century, French Napoleon III period, Louis XV style 'Fauteuil' armchairs. Elegant and finely proportioned, broad and comfortable to sit on. Please note the play of light on the fine, haut-relief carved mouldings and foliate decorations, and on the nicely-worn painted finish. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
