A fine and elegant 19th century French Louis XVI style, carved 'Bergere a Oreilles' wingback 'Bergere' armchair standing on tapering and fluted legs, the timber frame decorated with hand carved continuous-ribbon mouldings and with floral motifs. Please note the excellent walnut patination. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

Condition report: In good, as found condition, the fabric requiring a steam clean.
