An elegant Parisian Napoleon III period, Louis XVI style, painted Bergere armchair of wonderfully simple and masculine, Neoclassical design, fitted with a separate down feather seat cushion for extra comfort. Note the quality of the frame's hand-carved mouldings and of the 'twist' patterns on the legs. Area of Paris, circa 1870.

Condition report: In good and un-restored condition. The fabric needing replacing.

Dimensions: Width 60 cm, height of back 110 cm.
