A pair of comfortable and light-weight, early 20th century French provincial 'fauteuil' solid oak ladderback armchairs decorated with bas-relief carved seashell motifs, the broad seats fitted with woven rush. Typical provincial Louis XV style armchairs from the area of Southern France, circa 1930.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition. The rush seats in good, usable condition.
