A large 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XV style solid walnut and upholstered Fauteuil Cabriolet armchair of tall and broad proportions, the seat and the backrest retaining the original tapestries specifically made for this armchair. Elegantly carved and very comfortable to sit in. Area of Paris, circa 1860.

Condition report: In excellent, as found condition, requiring waxing and buffing. The upholstery stuffing and covering fabrics and tapestries in very good condition.
Dimensions: Width 72 cm, depth 54 cm, height of back rest 116 cm, height of seat 44 cm.
